Front Entry Planting with Brick Steps
The entry is framed with a restrained planting palette and a direct stair approach. Rounded shrubs set the base, while taller evergreen and grass forms give the facade a measured rhythm.

A closer look
The design is read through its paths, planting layers, and places to spend time outdoors.
What the space needed
The straight steps are kept visible from the approach. Planting gathers on either side to give the entry weight without narrowing the route or covering the lower windows.
How the planting works
Clipped rounded shrubs repeat along the foundation, with hydrangea flowers adding a lighter middle layer. A narrow evergreen and a taller grass bring upright movement near the steps.
Materials and layout
Brick steps and a dark landing lead to the front door. The planting bed follows the white facade, creating a simple contrast between masonry, green foliage, and pale flowers.
Using the garden
This is an arrival garden designed to be read from the walk and the front of the home. The open stair line keeps daily entry simple while the planting carries the visual detail.
The flower heads and grass will change through the year, while the clipped shrubs and evergreen provide a steady frame as the garden establishes.
